Peter Schoenmakers decorated as Knight in the Order of the Lion of the Netherlands

On 28 June 2022 COAST Education Director Prof Peter Schoenmakers was decorated as “Ridder in de Orde van de Nederlandse Leeuw” (Knight in the Order of the Lion of the Netherlands). Peter received the decoration in Amsterdam, where he was professor of Analytical Chemistry and presented his valedictory lecture. 

The decoration is used to recognize merits in the arts, science, sport and literature. Peter is an international expert in the field of chromatography and intellectual father of many innovations in the field. His scientific status has been recognized through many international prizes and awards.

COAST congratulates Peter with this valuable recognition of his contribution to science.
