The 32nd International Conference on Ion Mobility Spectrometry will take place in Maastricht from 19 till 25 Augustus 2023.

This rather “small” conference of some 150 participants, originates from the “field IMS” systems, the ones you encounter at airports and as breath analyzers. Traditionally, the majority of the orals and posters are devoted to technical aspects on engineering IMS systems, ionization (Radio Active Radiation and Photons) and even research to water cluster ions in the gas phase. A considerable number of the IMS specialist like Gary Eiceman, Fernando Lima and other will be present. The conference is particularly suited for and focused on PhDs and Postdocs, giving them the opportunity to build their network and interact with well-known specialists in the field. Edwin de Pauw will kick-off the conference as the Keynote Lecturer.

Please note that the conference also offers a short course on TIMS, taught by a.o. Fanny Caroline Liu. For more information visit the short course webpage.
